The Municipal Government Affairs Service Center has officially launched an upgraded online platform for venue rental, marking a significant step in digitalizing public facility management. The new system integrates all government-owned venues, including conference rooms, exhibition halls, and community centers, into a unified digital database. Citizens, businesses, and non-profit organizations can now browse available spaces, compare detailed facility information, and submit rental applications entirely online, eliminating the need for in-person visits and paper-based procedures. This launch is part of the city's broader effort to improve administrative efficiency and provide more convenient public services to residents.The platform features a user-friendly interface with real-time calendar displays, standardized pricing models, and an automated approval workflow. Users can filter venues by capacity, location, and available amenities such as audio-visual equipment, Wi-Fi, and catering services. Once a rental request is submitted, the system automatically checks for conflicts and forwards the application to the responsible department for review. Applicants receive electronic contracts and invoices directly through the platform, and payments can be made via multiple secure channels. To ensure transparency, all pricing information is publicly listed, and any special discounts for community or charitable events are clearly indicated. The platform also includes a feedback mechanism, allowing users to rate their experience and suggest improvements for future upgrades.According to the director of the Municipal Government Affairs Service Center, the new system has significantly reduced the average processing time for venue rental applications from five working days to just one. Since the trial run began in March, more than 300 rental requests have been successfully processed, with a satisfaction rate of over 95 percent. The center plans to expand the platform's venue database to include sports facilities and cultural venues by the end of the year. Additionally, a mobile application version is under development, which will enable users to manage their bookings and receive notifications on the go. The government encourages all departments to utilize the platform and welcomes feedback from the public to continuously refine the service.
